AP GSWS Inter-District Transfers on Spouse Grounds – Complete Details (G.O.MS.No.15, Dated 17-11-2025)

The Government of Andhra Pradesh (GSWS Department) has issued fresh guidelines for Inter-District Transfers of Village/Ward Secretariat functionaries on Spouse Grounds.

This new order ensures family unification, transparent transfer rules, and merit-based priority, while maintaining adequate staffing in every Village/Ward Secretariat.

The official guidelines were released through G.O.MS.No.15 dated 17-11-2025.

1. Objective of the Transfer Policy

The policy aims to support GSWS employees who wish to relocate to another district to stay with their spouse who is employed in:

AP State Government
Central Government
State/Central Universities
Municipalities
Cooperative institutions
Public Sector Undertakings
Aided institutions

This initiative promotes:

✔ Family well-being

✔ Social stability

✔ Improved employee productivity

2. Eligibility Criteria

To apply for AP GSWS Inter-District Transfer 2025, the applicant must:

✔ Be a regular GSWS functionary

✔ Apply only through ONLINE mode

✔ Have a spouse working in Govt/PSU/Aided/University sector

✔ Submit NO DUES certificate from MPDO/Municipal Commissioner

✔ Have no pending charges, ACB, Vigilance or disciplinary cases

❌ NOT Eligible:

Spouse working in private sector
Requests without mandatory certificates

7. Important Rules to Note

✔ Employee joining new district takes last rank

✔ No claim for TA/DA

✔ No joining time

✔ False documents → disciplinary + criminal action

✔ Secretariat staffing must meet:

Category A – 6 Staff
Category B – 7 Staff
Category C – 8 Staff

8. Transfer Schedule (As per G.O.)

The entire Inter-District Transfer Process must be completed by:
