Implementation of Right to Education Act, 2009 – Section 12(1)(C) - Admissions to Class I for the Academic Year 2026–27

(For children who have completed 5 years of age)

As per the Right to Education Act, 2009 – Section 12(1)(C), the Government of Andhra Pradesh has allocated 25% seats in Class I in all private unaided schools (IB / CBSE / ICSE / State Syllabus) for children belonging to disadvantaged and weaker sections, residing in nearby localities.

For the academic year 2026–27, applications are invited from 20-02-2026 to 10-03-2026 for admission into Class I under RTE Section 12(1)(C).

Admissions will be processed through Aadhaar-based online allocation via http://cse.ap.gov.in.

The list of selected students can be viewed at the concerned schools.

The Andhra Pradesh Government, through the School Education Department & Samagra Shiksha, has officially announced the implementation of RTE Act 2009 – Section 12(1)(C) for the 2026–27 academic year, ensuring free education for eligible children in private unaided schools.

Under RTE Act 2009 Section 12(1)(C), 25% free seats are allotted in Class 1 of all private unaided schools (IB, CBSE, ICSE, State Syllabus) in Andhra Pradesh for eligible children during the 2026–27 academic year.
