About AP POLYCET

AP POLYCET is a state-level entrance examination conducted for admission into:

🎓 Eligibility Criteria



To appear for the POLYCET 2026 exam, candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • Nationality: Must be an Indian National.

  • Residency: Must belong to the state of Andhra Pradesh.

  • Academic Qualification: Must have passed or appeared for the SSC (10th Class) examination conducted by the Board of Secondary Education, AP, or an equivalent recognized board (CBSE, ICSE, NIOS, APOSS) with Mathematics as one of the subjects.

  • Minimum Marks: Candidates from NIOS/APOSS must have passed all subjects including Maths, Physics, and Chemistry with at least 35% marks in each.

  • Age Limit: There is no age restriction to appear for the entrance test.

Examination Pattern & Syllabus

The exam is designed to test recall, application, and analytical skills based on the SSC syllabus for March 2026.

  • Mode: Offline (OMR-based).

  • Duration: 2 Hours (120 Minutes).

  • Question Type: Objective type (120 Multiple Choice Questions).

  • Marking Scheme: Each question carries 1 mark. There is no negative marking.
