 FLN Capacity Building Training 2026 for DRPs – Samagra Shiksha AP Orders Released



Samagra Shiksha Andhra Pradesh has officially issued orders for conducting the Foundational Literacy and Numeracy (FLN) Capacity Building Training Programme for District Resource Persons (DRPs) across Andhra Pradesh. The training is aimed at strengthening foundational learning skills for Classes 1 and 2 under the FLN Mission aligned with NEP 2020 and NIPUN Bharat guidelines.



About the FLN Training Programme

The School Education Department stated that Foundational Literacy and Numeracy (FLN) is the most critical stage in a child’s learning journey. The programme focuses on improving reading, writing, numeracy skills, activity-based teaching methods, competency-based assessments, and remedial support for primary students.

To strengthen classroom teaching and academic support systems, intensive residential training programmes will be conducted for identified District Resource Persons (DRPs), who will further train teachers at the field level.




Training Dates

Initially, the training was scheduled from 28-05-2026 to 01-06-2026. Due to the Bakrid holiday, the revised training schedule is:

The residential DRP training will be conducted in 12 regional venues across Andhra Pradesh.

Officials were instructed to:

  • Relieve DRPs in advance
  • Ensure full attendance during training
  • Avoid assigning academic duties during training period

  • Ensure active participation in academic sessions and practical activities

The department clarified that any delay or negligence in relieving participants will be viewed seriously.
