The Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC), Vijayawada has issued Notification No. 06/2026 for the Departmental Tests – November 2026 Session.
Online applications will be accepted from 01/10/2026 to 21/10/2026. The date of the examinations will be announced later by the Commission.
📝 How to Apply
Step 1: Candidates applying for the first time should complete One-Time Profile Registration (OTPR).
Step 2: Candidates having an existing OTPR ID can use the same ID and should update their working district according to the new 26-district structure.
Step 3: Login to the APPSC website using the OTPR ID and password.
Step 4: Select the online application option and enter the required application details.
Step 5: Complete the payment process and note the payment reference ID.
Step 6: Complete and submit the application form and preserve the application receipt for future reference.
💻 Examination Scheme
- Most Departmental Tests are conducted in Objective Type mode.
- Language Tests and Survey & Settlement Tests are conducted in Conventional Mode.
- Objective-type papers are conducted as Computer Based Departmental Tests.
- Objective papers have a duration of 2 Hours (120 Minutes).
- Objective-type examination timings are 10:00 AM–12:00 Noon and 3:00 PM–5:00 PM.
- Conventional papers generally have a duration of 3 Hours, except PC No. 05, which has a 2-hour duration.
📍 Examination Centres
The Departmental Tests will be conducted in all 26 Districts of Andhra Pradesh.
Candidates will generally be allotted the examination district corresponding to their present working district mentioned in the application. If sufficient accommodation is not available, candidates may be allotted to the nearest district.

Employees of the Government of Andhra Pradesh are eligible to apply for the Departmental Tests prescribed in their respective Departmental Service Rules.
