 Mega DSC Orientation Programme – Certificates Verification FAQs

The Mega DSC Orientation Programme provided clarity to district teams on important rules regarding certificates verification for teacher recruitment. Below are the key FAQs and official clarifications:

1. Qualification

Percentage of marks will be calculated including both languages and group subjects.

2. GPA/CGPA Conversion

Marks will be calculated as per the conversion formula prescribed by the respective Board/University.

3. Local Status Clarification

• Study Certificates from Class IV to X (7 years) must be submitted.

• If appeared privately, a residence certificate for 7 years prior to SSC is required.

• Migration from Telangana is considered only with certificates issued under G.O.Ms.No.132 & 133.

• District allocation depends on the combination of years studied in different districts.

4. Post of Principal – Eligibility & Experience

• 3 years’ experience as Principal in Govt./Private Intermediate Institutions.

• 3 years’ experience as PGT/Lecturer in Higher Secondary/Intermediate.

• 5 years’ experience as Head Master in Secondary Schools.

• Certificates must be issued by the Principal/HM and countersigned by DyEO/DVEO/RIO.

• Pay scale is not mandatory.

5. TET Eligibility

• Must pass TET in the concerned subject.

• TET 2A Languages → SA Languages

• TET 2A Maths & Science → SA Maths, PS, BS

• TET 2A Social → SA SS

6. Hindi Pandit (Visarada/Praveena)

• 50% marks for OC candidates.

• 40% marks for SC/ST/BC candidates.

• No minimum percentage required for Professional Qualifications (B.Ed/D.El.Ed.).

7. School Assistant (Physical Education)

• No minimum percentage required in Academic or Professional Qualifications.

8. Language/Medium of Study

Candidates must have studied in the concerned medium of instruction or language at SSC/Intermediate/Degree level to be eligible.

9. Corrections in Names

Minor spelling corrections in candidate/parent names are allowed.

10. OTP Confirmation

Any two of three members of the verification team can confirm through OTP.

11. Preview Option

Yes, a preview option will be available before final submission.

12. EWS Certificate

• Allowed only if EWS option is selected in the application.

• Must be issued by Revenue Authorities.
