Andhra Pradesh Teachers Inter-District Transfers 2025 – Full Guidelines, Eligibility & Schedule

The Government of Andhra Pradesh, School Education Department has issued fresh instructions regarding Inter-District Transfers of Teachers and Headmasters in 2025. These transfers will be processed strictly on spouse grounds and mutual grounds under the Presidential Order provisions.

Teachers and Headmasters working in Government, Zilla Parishad, Mandal Parishad, Municipal, and Municipal Corporation schools can apply through the LEAP App within the prescribed schedule.

 Eligibility Criteria for Inter-District Transfers 2025

1. Must be working in Government/ZP/MP/Municipal/Municipal Corporation Schools under the same management.

2. Minimum 2 years of service as of 31.07.2025 in the present district and post.

3. Teachers whose spouse is employed in Government/PSU/University/HODs/Secretariats/Local Bodies can apply if a clear vacancy exists.

4. Spouse in HODs/Secretariats are eligible only for Krishna & Guntur districts.

5. Mutual transfers permitted only in the same category and management, with written consent.

6. Teachers under suspension, unauthorized absence, or facing charges are not eligible.

7. Applications with false or incomplete information will be rejected.

 Process of Applying (Step-by-Step)

• Apply online only through the LEAP App.

• Download and submit the signed application along with certificates to Headmaster/MEO/Dy.EO.

• Concerned officers will verify details and forward them to District Educational Officer (DEO).

• Once submitted online, no second application allowed.

• Applicants must forgo seniority in old district and accept last rank in the new district.
