Mega DSC 2025 Final Selection List Released

The Government of Andhra Pradesh, School Education Department, has officially announced the Mega DSC 2025 Final Selection List for teacher recruitment.

A total of 16,347 teacher vacancies across various departments including Government, Panchayat Raj, Municipal, Tribal Welfare, Social Welfare, BC Welfare (Mahatma Jyotiba Phule), Model Schools, Residential Schools, Special Schools for Disabled, and Juvenile Welfare Department Schools were notified on 20th April 2025 through the Mega DSC–2025 Notification.

Between 20.04.2025 and 15.05.2025, candidates were allowed to submit online applications. A record 3,36,300 candidates submitted 5,77,675 applications in total.

The Computer-Based Test (CBT) was conducted daily in two shifts from 06.06.2025 to 02.07.2025 under strict examination measures.

Key Timeline of Mega DSC 2025

• Preliminary Key released on 05.07.2025

• Objections received from candidates till 12.07.2025

• Final Key published on 01.08.2025 after expert review

• Opportunity to correct TET-related discrepancies given between 17.08.2025 and 21.08.2025

Due to the large number of candidates and multiple shifts, a fair normalization method was implemented to ensure justice to all aspirants.

The merit list was prepared by giving 20% weightage to TET score and 80% weightage to DSC score, finalized management-wise and category-wise.

Later, district-level verification teams (50 candidates per team) conducted thorough certificate verification between 28.08.2025 and 13.09.2025. For specialized categories like Blind, Hearing Impaired, Orthopedically Handicapped, and Mentally Retarded candidates, expert support from the Health Department was taken.

After the detailed verification process, the final selection lists have been prepared and will be officially released on 15th September 2025.
