What NMMS Candidates Need to Know

The NMMS (National Means-Cum-Merit Scholarship) Examination is a crucial screening test designed to identify and support meritorious students from economically weaker sections. This scholarship, initiated by the Central Government, aims to reduce the dropout rate at the secondary level. The test typically consists of two main papers:

  • Mental Ability Test (MAT): Assesses reasoning and critical thinking skills.
  • Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT): Covers subjects like Science, Social Studies, and Mathematics.

The Key Objection Window: Your Opportunity

The release of the Initial Key is a standard procedure that promotes transparency. It contains the officially accepted answers for all question paper sets (Set A, Set B, Set C, and Set D). Students, parents, and teachers are strongly advised to meticulously compare the key against the questions and their recorded responses.

How to Submit Objections:

  1. Click on the **"SUBMIT KEY OBJECTIONS"** button above.
  2. Provide your Hall Ticket Number and other required credentials.
  3. Fill out the form detailing the question number, the set (A/B/C/D), the answer in the initial key, and your proposed correct answer, along with **valid documentary evidence** for your claim.
  4. Objections without proper justification will not be considered. Ensure all details are accurate before final submission.

Note: The deadline for submitting objections is strict. Once the objection window closes, the BSEAP (Board of Secondary Education, Andhra Pradesh) will prepare and release the Final Key and the official results based on the scrutinized objections.

For official circulars and further updates, please refer to the Board of Secondary Education, Andhra Pradesh (BSEAP) official website.
