The Two‑Minute Slip Test Has Arrived
LEAP's new Question Paper Module and Centralised Item Bank let every AP teacher build a classroom test by topic, difficulty or Bloom's level — in a few taps.
Every teacher knows the moment: a concept has just been taught, and the only honest question left is — did it land? Until now, finding out meant 30 to 45 minutes of hunting for questions, balancing difficulty and formatting a paper. Andhra Pradesh's LEAP app has just shrunk that to a few taps.
What the Department Has Announced
Through proceedings dated 26 October 2026, the Director of School Education, Andhra Pradesh (SCERT) has informed all District Educational Officers that the Digital Assessment Platform (Question Paper Module) and a Centralised Item Bank are now live inside the LEAP Application.
Teachers log in, pick the class, subject, medium, topic, number and type of questions, and generate a paper by difficulty level or by Bloom's Taxonomy. Papers come out in MCQ format, and schools are encouraged to run a Student Assessment Test on No Bag Day — and on any other day that suits — using a gamified approach to lift learning outcomes.
Two Ways to Shape a Paper
The module offers two control dials. Use one or the other — never both at once.
The Time It Hands Back
Minutes once spent on picking, balancing and formatting questions now go back to what matters — reviewing results with students and closing learning gaps.

What DEOs and Headmasters Must Do
District Educational Officers are asked to pass these instructions to all field-level functionaries and to ensure every Headmaster briefs their teachers. The aim is regular use of the module to check understanding, spot learning gaps early and provide timely remedial support. Copies have gone to Deputy and Mandal Educational Officers, Regional Joint Directors and the State Project Director, Samagra Shiksha — and the instructions are to be followed scrupulously.
“Less time setting papers. More time closing gaps.”
