Andhra Pradesh School Education Department has recently emphasized the importance of timely submission of pension proposals for government school employees who are retiring from service. This directive, dated 31st July 2025, follows communication from the Principal Accountant General (A&E), Andhra Pradesh, and aims to streamline the pension settlement process for retiring staff.
As per the latest government memorandum, all Regional Joint Directors of School Education and District Educational Officers are instructed to strictly comply with the guidelines set out by the Principal Accountant General. The goal is to prevent any delays or lapses in pension disbursements post-retirement.
This step ensures that the pension papers are processed well in advance, avoiding unnecessary financial hardship for retirees. The memo underlines the collective responsibility of the administrative heads at the regional and district levels to coordinate and ensure that proposals are submitted accurately and punctually.
