Important Payment Update:

The revised DA sanctioned under the order shall be paid in cash along with the September 2026 salary payable in October 2026, subject to the provisions of the Government Order.

📊 DA Arrears – 20 Months

The DA enhancement is effective from 01-01-2025. The Government Order provides for DA arrears for the period from 01-01-2025 to 31-08-2026, covering 20 months.

For eligible employees covered under the Contributory Pension Scheme (CPS), the applicable portion of the arrears will be dealt with according to the provisions specified in the Government Order.

👴 Special Provision for Retiring Employees

Employees who have retired or are due to retire during the period specified in the Government Order are covered by the special provisions relating to payment of DA arrears. Such employees should verify their individual eligibility and payment treatment with their concerned department/DDO.

👨‍👩‍👧 DA Arrears in Case of Death

In applicable cases, the legal heir(s) of an employee who died before the issue of the orders may be entitled to the DA arrears, subject to the conditions and rules specified in the Government Order.
